Not sure whether to choose a SALT membership or a credit pack? This guide breaks down the differences to help you find the most cost-effective and sustainable option for your fitness routine.
If you’ve been riding or training at SALT regularly, or have gained momentum in your fitness routine, you're probably starting to think about what feels most sustainable for both your schedule and your budget.
Many people realise that once they've found a studio, instructors, and community they return to consistently, a membership often becomes simpler, more predictable, and more cost-effective than pay-as-you-go options.
(And the bonus relief of decision paralysis to choose what workout to do today and where to go hmm...)
SALT's membership options are designed to support exactly that: helping you stay consistent, while lowering your per-class cost in the long run.
Whether you’re here for Spin, Strength, Yoga, or all — here’s a simple guide to choosing the right option for your lifestyle.
Why switch to a SALT membership?
People usually choose to purchase fitness memberships when one (or all) of these apply:
- You’re coming regularly — about once a week or more
If SALT has already become part of your weekly routine, a membership helps remove the "Should I use or save this credit" mental load and helps you get the best per-class value. - You prefer predictable costs
Membership tells you exactly what you're investing each month (or cycle). Credit usage is tied to the class duration, not the class type — so as your frequency increases, your per-class cost drops.
No more estimating average class cost, or bracing for demand-based surges. - You want more booking flexibility and support
Life happens — traffic, meetings, family obligations. When you book directly with SALT, we can assist with same-day or next-day reschedules when possible without you forfeiting your credits (T&C apply)
We can't do this for external platform bookings because their system is beyond our control. - You want a studio that feels familiar and like a community
Memberships create natural consistency, and consistency builds connections — from instructors noticing your progress to tailor and guide you along, to familiar faces that become a form of motivation, and gradually, your training feels easier to maintain.
... and the cherry on the top? - Access to members-only perks
Members enjoy extra value: FREE community classes and perks like coffee, exclusive events and partner promotions.

Credit Packs vs Membership — Which should you pick?
Here's a checklist to help you decide —
Choose credit packs if you:
☑ Want maximum flexibility (including credit-sharing and longer validity), or
☑ Prefer not to commit monthly
☑ Have not settled into a consistent training routine, or train seasonally
Choose memberships if you:
☑ Already train here weekly or multiple times a week
☑ Want more predictable per-class cost
☑ Want smoother scheduling and easier planning (up to 2 weeks advance)
A simple litmus test to decide which is best for you — Ask yourself:
"Have I visited SALT at least 4 times in the past month?"
- If yes: a membership will likely save you more in the long run, while supporting your consistency
- If no: a credit pack may suit your schedule better.
